2. Your right to privacy
You have several rights regarding the processing of your personal data. The exercise of your rights within our systems and procedures will be completed within 30 days after we have received your request. If, for any reason, this deadline cannot be met, we will inform you before the original period expires.
2.1 You have the right to access your personal data
You have the right to obtain access to the personal data we process about you, the purpose of the processing, where we obtained the data from, and who receives the data.
You may also request information about how long we retain the data, whether the data is used for automated decision-making, and whether we intend to transfer the data to a country outside the European Union.
The requested information will be provided to you in writing or electronically within a reasonable period.
2.2 You can have your data corrected/completed
It may happen that the data we process about you is not (or no longer) accurate. You can always request that incorrect data be corrected or that incomplete data be completed.
2.3 Right to erasure
If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you may request that this personal data be deleted.This request for deletion may be refused by Avonture D. Management BV if this is justified, for example in the case of exercising or substantiating a legal claim or due to a legal obligation to retain certain data.
2.4 Right to restriction of processing
You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if you believe that the data is incorrect, the processing is unlawful, or if you object to the processing based on our legitimate interest (see article 3.3).
We will comply with this request unless there are compelling reasons not to, for example to prevent fraud or non-payment.
2.5 Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, including profiling. The processing will then be stopped, unless it is necessary for compliance with social and fiscal legislation, to protect the interests of a third party, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
2.6. Right to data portability
You can contact us to request that the personal data you have provided to us be transferred to a third party.
2.7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you do not agree with our position, you can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority. You can also file a complaint there. The contact details can be found above in section 1.4.
2.8 Identification of the requester
You can exercise your rights regarding the processing of your personal data by submitting a written request:

Please be as specific as possible when exercising your rights. This allows us to handle your request correctly.
To prevent someone else from exercising your rights, we may verify your identity as accurately as possible. Therefore, your request must always be accompanied by a document proving your identity.
This can be done by attaching a copy of your identity card to your request. Please make sure to black out your photo and identity card number (etc.) to protect your privacy.If we determine that the submitted document does not provide sufficient proof, we will inform you. We reserve the right not to process your request until sufficient proof has been provided.
3. Why do we process your personal data?
3.1 Avonture D. Management BV must comply with legal obligations
In some cases, we are legally required to process your personal data. The most important ones include:
• tax law
• commercial law
• the possibility that we are required to provide personal data to authorities or other third parties, for example when this is necessary in connection with a legal obligation or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest
3.2 Avonture D. Management BV must be able to perform its contract with you
As a customer, you use our services or purchase our products. To ensure the proper execution of our agreement, we must process and manage these contracts administratively, financially, and operationally.This also applies if you are a supplier to Avonture D. Management BV. In that case as well, we must respect the contract and process and manage supplier agreements administratively, financially, and operationally.
3.3 Avonture D. Management BV must be able to operate as a company in terms of Direct Marketing and communication
As a commercial company, we have a number of legitimate interests that form the basis for processing personal data. In doing so, we ensure that a proper balance is maintained between your right to privacy and the legitimate interests of Avonture D. Management BV.
If you still have objections to processing based on this legal ground, you may object to such processing.
Avonture D. Management BV wishes to stay in contact with you, as an existing customer or active prospect, through direct marketing. This may be based on your specific request or because we believe you may be interested in our new products/services.
Since our goal is to continuously provide better service and better products, and to communicate this to you, we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes based on our legitimate interest as a business.
This information may reach you through various channels, including email, post, telephone, or events. We choose the most appropriate channel to minimize any disturbance.
If you no longer wish to receive our commercial communications, you can simply let us know and we will stop contacting you. You can do this for all communications or per channel.
3.4 Avonture D. Management BV has your consent
We request your consent to send newsletters and to store your contact details (name, first name, address, email address, phone number) in our marketing platform so that we can automatically provide you with information about our services you have shown interest in.When you visit our website for the first time, we ask for your consent via our cookie banner to place statistical, marketing, and social media cookies.

4. What personal data do we process about you and for what purposes?
4.1 From our business relationships
Business relationships include our customers and suppliers.
Avonture D. Management BV processes the personal data of individuals working for companies we do business with. The purpose of this processing is to provide information about our products and services and to maintain business relationships.
To contact and identify you, and for our customer and supplier management, we process the following data:
name, first name, address, gender, phone number, mobile number, email address, IP address, cookies, bank account number, VAT number.
4.2 From our prospects
Our potential new customers are interested in digital marketing services and related training. Avonture D. Management BV specializes in this area.
We therefore aim to keep them informed about these products/services. To communicate with them, we process the following personal data:
name, first name, address, telephone and/or mobile number, email address, IP address, and cookies.
DAMC also uses Leadinfo to contact potential customers.
4.3 Cookies
Avonture D. Management BV uses cookies on its website www.damc.be. These are small data files stored on the device you use to visit our website, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone.When we refer to “cookies,” we also include similar technologies. Cookies allow us to recognize your web browser. This is useful because you don’t have to re-enter your data each time, set preferences again, or adjust your settings.
In this way, we can also improve our website, gain insight into visitor behavior, and allow third parties to analyze your browsing behavior so they can display personalized advertisements across multiple websites and avoid irrelevant ads.
Cookies do not compromise the security of your computer.
We use functional, analytical, marketing, and social media cookies. 4.4 CCTV footage is temporarily stored
We may use cameras in and around our buildings. When it comes to surveillance cameras, we comply with legal requirements. You can recognize areas under camera surveillance by a clearly visible notice.
Footage is stored for a maximum of 30 days.
Exceptions include:
• when the recorded images are necessary as evidence of a crime or nuisance
• to prove damage
• to identify a perpetrator, witness, or victim
5. Sharing and retention of your personal data
5.1 Who do we share your personal data with?
We only share your data with individuals who have explicitly received our authorization, and only if they need this data to perform their tasks. These individuals will process your data on the same legal basis as we received it from you.
For the processing of personal data, we rely on various processors. These are our subcontractors who process personal data on our behalf. Avonture D. Management BV only works with processors who guarantee the same level of technical and operational security.Your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union, particularly when we work with platforms such as Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn. In such cases, we ensure that the processing of personal data is adequately protected in accordance with specific contractual obligations and applicable privacy legislation.
We will only share your data further if required to do so by law or by a governmental order.
5.2 Avonture D. Management BV does not sell your personal data
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for their own use.
5.3. We do not retain your data indefinitely
Avonture D. Management BV processes your personal data for clearly defined purposes. Once these purposes have been achieved, the data is deleted. The retention of your personal data is based on legally required retention periods.
Personal data of potential customers (prospects) is initially retained for 2 years. If there is contact between the prospect and Avonture D. Management BV during this period, a new 2-year period starts from that moment.
Personal data of existing customers, suppliers, and subcontractors is initially retained for 7 years. If there is new contact during this period, a new 7-year period starts from that moment.
